Raspberry PiNoir V2 Camera Module without IR filter, 1080p 8MP Sony IMX219PQ CMOS, 15-pin GPIO cable Raspberry PiNoir V2 connects to your Raspberry Pi to give you the opportunity to film and take pictures with your Raspberry building. Pi Noir (no IR) is the same as the standard camera module, the difference is the absence of IR filter, which is perfect for those who want to use the camera in the dark (separate IR LEDs required for this, sold separately). The module uses Sony's IMX219PQ CMOS sensor that provides good video / image quality. The module also provides functions such as noise reduction and control of functions such as exposure, white balance and luminance to give you the tools needed to take great pictures. The 15 centimeters long GPIO cable connects to the Raspberry Pi Camera Serial Interface Port (CSI). Once connected, you can access the camera module via multi-media abstraction layer (MMAL) or Video for Linux (V4L) APIs, alternative libraries Picamera Python and many others are also available to download.
