Deltaco e-Charge charging cable, Schuko for type 2

Deltaco e-Charge EV-1226 charging cable fits all vehicles with a Type2 socket for those who want to charge via a standard wall socket of the type Schuko so-called mode 2 charging. Charging power up to 3.6KW. Adjustable charging current between 6, 8, 10, 15 or 16A. The charging time can be limited in time between 1 and 12 hours, and the start time can also be delayed between 1 and 12 hours. Information about set charging current and possibly timer functions are shown on the display. The display shows the current status and how much power has been charged during charging. LED indication, green or red on the front to easily see the charge status.
The charger is delivered with a wall bracket for easy installation and the possibility of locking with the help of a padlock *.

Silver-plated connections guarantee good contact and long service life. The Type2 connector is equipped with dust protection to protect against dust, dirt and moisture during storage. The cable control box has a built-in earth fault circuit breaker type A and a 6mA DC filter.
The cable is made of a TPE material that provides good resistance to oil, abrasion and UV light. The cable is also flexible in cooling.
Type 2 sockets are today EU standard, cars from the manufacturers for example. AUDI, BMW, Hyundai, KIA, Mercedes, Polestar, Porsche, Seat, Skoda, Tesla, Volkswagen, Volvo all use Type 2 sockets.

The charging of the car is monitored through a two-way communication between the car and the control box. When the cable is connected to the car, a self-test is performed which ensures that the cable is correctly connected and that the car is ready to receive power, before charging begins and the control box energizes the cable, the connector is mechanically locked in the car.
Protection rated according to IP 54. The cable control box has a built-in earth fault circuit breaker and DC filter. In the event of a ground fault, the charge is switched off.
After charging, unlock the car so that the mechanical lock opens and disconnect the charging cable connector.

The Swedish Electrical Safety Board in Sweden, DSB in Norway, Tukes in Finland and the Swedish Safety Board in Denmark all advise against regular charging in ordinary wall and engine heater sockets. NOTE some local deviations occur.
